Development Specialist

Timpl has partnered with a 1 tier supplier for a global automobile manufacture and is seeking for a Development Specialist.

Title	Senior Specialist	Department	Development
Reports to	Assistant Manager	Approved

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Calculate for new parts cost management
Monthly material and scrap costs management
New models development schedule management
North America development car model, managing of cost and development
New model development management: SKD parts, Mold, T/O product, and Customer require a response
ERP BOM and E/O history management

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Managers are responsible and authorized to supervise all Development department employees in case of emergency or contingency.

PREREQUISITES FOR THE JOB:

1. Demonstrated knowledge of products, processes, people, and systems, prior to automotive.

2. Engineering degree preferred, and/or equivalent experience and proven track record.

3. Demonstrated communication skills both oral and written.

4. Strong interpersonal skills & ability to work in a team environment.

5. Basic computer skills a must.
